Knowing that I work with the mission, most of my friends would ask me questions about visa matters. Since I do not belong to that department at the Embassy (and even if I do, I still won’t answer them coz I am not authorized to do so… just following rules my dear friends :>), I normally tell them, “Please call the US Embassy Trunkline at 02-3012000 and ask for the operator’s assistance to direct you to IV/NIV. We are open from Monday-Friday, except for Philippine and American Holidays.”

Recently, I was given a great opportunity to host one of US Embassy Manila’s biggest events, America in 3D, which is a road show in Diplomacy, Development and Defense.

Though I am an employee of the mission, all those who wished to host the America in 3D were asked to audition 3 weeks before the event, which commenced last March 2-4, 2012 at SM City Iloilo.

God is just so good to me, He bestowed me this great avenue for me to develop my skills in public speaking and be able to share my talents with others. 

There were bonuses for this great chance, people flocked to me and asked for a photo op with me whenever I went down the stage, had a great chat with Mr. Jose Mari Chan, heard great feedbacks from my audience and from the heads of the mission, congratulations greetings from friends, family and colleagues, and most of all, self-fulfillment for I have reached another milestone in my life, through God’s unwavering love for me.

Thank you Lord!

FAITH moves mountains...

Oh gosh! i definitely abandoned my blog site for more than a month…. my past 4 weeks were filled with pool of activities that whenever i reach home and feel the comfort of my bed, I just can’t withstand the need to sleep!

For the times I’ve abandoned my blog site, I was super busy heading a speed dating event at the HYATT Hotel Manila (Jan 18), I also facilitated a 3 nights Retreat at Mother Spinelli House (Feb 10-12) at Tagaytay City… Shortly, after these two activities, I directed myself to Angeles and Subic for 3 days official travel… And just 2 hrs ago, I just came from Iloilo City because I hosted a 3 day BIG event for the US Embassy (though I actually spent 5 days there, from Mar 1-5), The America in 3D at SM Iloilo.

Whew! Upcoming event is the hosting for the US Embassy Mission Games 2012… I just can’t get enough! hahaha! Later at 5pm, I’ll have a full body massage at the California Nails and Day Spa! WAAAAAAAAHHHH!  My entire body hurts sooooo bad because I needed to stand for 12++hrs with my 5 inches shoes during my hosting career… Good Lord, THANK YOU!

Im in a bit of worry last night knowing that my purse only holds 100peso bills .

It was ironic though that I kept on handing out exact payments for my purchases last night at Coffee Bean and Army Navy… Haha! im just so stupid sometimes!

Since the battle is on for the search of coins for my jeepney fare today (uhm.. my car is at the parking lot… Im to renew my vows with driving this month… my boyfriend’s going to take care of that haha! i love you honey! ), I tried to ask for my brother to give me like 2 pesos so as I can pay the jeepney right…. he searched his bag.. his pockets.. and only found a peso! I just can’t imagine why I am still fat (having a current weight of 140LBS at 5ft).

Health has been tremendously blocking my way to reaching my goal of 100LBS in about 1 month from today. Now, I have to patiently wait til’ around April or May 2012. Geez.

I should be playing around small and x-small clothes at this point if only hypoglycemia and heart enlargement did not come to picture. I hate it.

INSOMNIA, move out! Im not giving up. TODAY is my renewal of vows with running. I can do it. I WILL MAKE IT!

I see nothing wrong about being FAT.

Yes, I’ve lost weight… and it’s a pretty good achievement.

It’s been a tiring 3 weeks for me and the stress level just keeps on increasing each day. Headache was unstoppable… palpitation was awakening… and to top it all, tests showed how unhealthy I have been despite my being so overly active with marathons and daily gym routines for the past 7 months.
